Ayamara Foundation (AF) is a non-governmental, not-for-profit organisation headquartered in Abuja, Nigeria. It is committed to improving the living standards of disenfranchised Nigerians, especially orphans, widows, the elderly, women and the girl child.
About us
We seek to restore human dignity by addressing illiteracy, unemployment, social exclusion and trans-generational poverty. Through education, healthcare, empowerment, advocacy and humanitarian support, we create opportunities for people and communities to live meaningful, dignified and self-sustaining lives.
A significant part of our work is elderly care and advocacy. Ageing should come with dignity, respect, inclusion and access to appropriate healthcare and support. Quarterpast 65 is the Foundation's platform for this work.
Our work reaches vulnerable communities across Nigeria, including Sagbama Local Government Area of Bayelsa State and Abuja. We collaborate with local and international organisations, partners, donors and stakeholders to advance our mission.
Our elderly care and advocacy work runs through Quarterpast 65 and QP65 Seniors Connect.
